When, in 1977, Rocersa was first founded, we could not imagine what a brilliant business history the firm would go on to have.
Its original modest Villarreal premises are a thing of the past. The business strategy that was followed by Rocersa in the reunification of its plants, involving investment of over 50 million euros, began back in 1993 with the purchase of the first plots of land in Alcora. Today it owns 253,000m2 of land.
The new facilities are to be allocated as follows: 11,000m2 have been set aside for the new corporate head office, whose first stone will be laid in March 2008, 3,000m2 for a laboratory for R&D and innovation, 45,000m2 for the delivery warehouse, 170,000m2 for the future logistics centre and subsequent extensions, and 72,000m2 for the production plant which began to operate at full capacity on January 2nd 2008.
With the reunification of the plants, the new factory’s production capacity will reach 15 million square metres a year (3.5 of wall tiles, 6.5 of floor tiles, and 5 of porcelain tiles).
This evolution is reflected by the high quality and diversity of Rocersa’s range of products, boosting the firm in its daily efforts to continue making new headway.
Trade Fairs. Awards and Distinctions

Our Values
Thanks to the firm’s experience and its business philosophy, Rocersa has become known for certain distinguishing features.
The Rocersa Guarantee: A guarantee that we are committed to meeting. Given our reputation as a leading tile manufacturer, we feel compelled to excel ourselves, ensuring that all our products are ones of proven quality.
A wide variety of products: Our range of tiles is one of the most extensive on the market, with few products that are missing, since we produce almost all the different formats that are currently commercialised: 20 x 20 - 25 x 40 – 31.6 x 31.6 – 31.6 x 45 – 31.6 x 59.34 – 44.7 x 44.7 – 47.2 x 47.2 etc.
We manufacture tiles with all kinds of clay bodies (red-body, white-body, porcelain tiles etc.) in a wide choice of finishes (glossy, matt, rectified, polished, semi-polished etc). As for our designs, they range from traditional ones, like marble or travertine-look tiles, to the most avant-garde, modern-looking of products in bright colours or with a damask look.
Prior research: Each new collection that Rocersa launches is preceded by careful studies of trends, market needs, customer demands etc.
Our R&D and Innovation Departments work together to adapt new discoveries in glazes, materials etc. to demands for certain types of designs or aesthetics.
Service: At Rocersa, we try to offer the most comprehensive service we can by tailoring it to meet the needs of our clients. We are aware that, as well as making and selling tiles, we also have to offer our clients the best possible, most extensive of service.
As a result, we create promotional material of all kinds to ensure that our products are properly displayed in the showroom, developing display units, collection boards, folders of samples, catalogues, CD-Roms etc. Needless to say, we also offer clients advice, answering possible queries and swiftly attending to any suggestion or comment.
